Fitness on the Go – 2.0

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

It’s challenging to stay fit these days, especially if you are on the road a lot.  A solution is on its way, however, and promises to take the challenges of staying active out of your travels.  Soon to launch, HotelGymReview.com (HGR), will allow travellers to research user-reviews of hotel gyms, book a hotel at a low-prices, and even add their own take on the good, the bad, and the ugly of their experiences to date.

The solution is based on the successful crowd-sourcing model, the practice of encouraging mass online user reviews, and has been architected by Travel Tales Media Inc. (TTM), a Vancouver, British Columbia-based web 2.0 start-up.  Driven by 5 young entrepreneurs, TTM’s mission is to develop an arsenal of niche user-review sites to better serve unfulfilled social needs.  HotelGymReview.com is the first of these websites.

HotelGymReview.com, as well as all future TTM sites, promises to be a simple experience that will constantly be updated as users contribute their reviews.  It will be free for users and supported by ads and hotel bookings. Active users of HotelGymReview.com will also have the opportunity to participate in health-oriented newsletters, follow the fit-traveller twitter feed, and get insights from industry professionals.

You can register to hear about launch details at HotelGymReview.com as well as follow the site on Twitter @hotelgymreview.
